Douglas F. Norman makes representational drawings and paintings that have been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally, with venues including Oxford, Mississippi; Lexington, Virginia; San Diego, California; and Florence, Italy. Norman has taught at Columbus College of Art & Design and has served as a visiting artist and professor teaching drawing at Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy and graduate painting at the Xi’an Academy of Fine Art in Xi’an, China. Norman holds a BS in painting and printmaking, San Diego State University, 1974; and an MFA in painting and drawing, The Claremont Graduate School and University Center, 1977.
